Tiki start is one of the highest safety class fan assisted respirators on the market, developed in Sweden to protect people who work in infectious environments.
The construction sector, healthcare, emergency services, the pharmaceutical industry and laboratories are just a few examples of areas and industries where Tiki start is used today.
The fan is powered by a rechargeable battery located in the fan unit. A fully charged battery is enough for about 2.5 hours of uninterrupted use. The fan unit is to be intended to be used with an external battery to comply with EN 12942. As an extra accessory, there is an external battery with a higher capacity and which at the same time reduces the weight of the respiratory protection, which can also be advantageous in extreme working conditions. The battery also powers the built-in LED lighting.
The fog-free visor is made of transparent PET-G and TPE. The visor is made of a consumable material and can easily be replaced if it should be damaged or scratched. The visor is available in three different sizes Small, Medium and Large.
For best comfort and safety, it is important to choose the right size of the visor.
The filters are certified according to the highest class for particulate filters (P3). The filter for inhaled air is attached with a bayonet socket on top of the visor. It is quick and easy to replace the filter.
Everything is held in place with an elastic harness that is easily adjusted to a good fit.
